Yeah, I know, haven't updated in forever. Boohoo. Beach was ok, but I need to do more beach stuff and less watching TV when on vacation. Working on the story as much as I did (another 44 handwritten pages) in one week was good, though. I'd detail my plans for it for the next several months, but working super early as got me so freaking tired at, what, 11 at night? Yuck. Ah well, I'm sure I'll make a more meaningful entry next time. So, I'm just a bit worried Ryan passed me his menengitis. I was extremely tired yesterday, sitll feeling a bit funky today, after TWELVE hours of sleep, and the headache still isn't 100% gone, but, it feels better.

Oh, and, my mom got me a duffel bag for my clothes for the beach. Only $3. Great deal, right? Well...the world map for ORPG fits inside it neatly. Tis such a beautiful thing, I can carry ALL my orpg stuff in it now. My mom doesn't realize how much that bag actually means to me. u.u

Well, time for work. Good thing I'm geting a ride, because I'd never make it in on time walking now. XD

Of viruses, toilets, people who need to work, and my story

Yep, feeling better. Brother is feeling much better too. So, I was talking about how my toilet bit me about a week ago. Several pieces of the porcelain surrounding the flushing handle broke off, and in my zeal to try and shove it back on, it sliced my thumb in a manner not unlike a paper cut. So...yeah, that's how it bit me. XD

C.K., not trying to sound like an asshole, but you are going to have to work, and decently so, to insure you can stay with Chuck and them. food situation isn't always the best, and as such, you'll be expected to pay so much rent every week or month. Hell,if you get a job at the stop and go, you'll prolly be set.

I need to find inspiration to work on the story more, I really do...

Gonna pump out a weapon chart or two for O3 now. :D

So, yeah, found out today that my brother has viral meningitis. Thankfully, not the brain-swelling, life threatening kind, but, still...I wonder how contagious it is? I really need to work as much as possible to finally start saving up some money, and, it'd really suck if I got it. ^^;;

*sigh* So, yeah, it seems I've picked up another friend who I'm a good listener for. Only gonna refer to her as LCK for privacy and all that crap. I just hope she's gonna be alright, she's really in a tight spot with her rent and everything...

and, man, i need to hurry up and get my license already. >< The sooner I can get a better job and start making some decent money, the sooner I can move out, save up for a awesome vacation or whatever, and a few other things.

...sometimes, I wonder if I'm really doing the right thing for my life. Not the work thing, I mean, or waiting til I get to another job so it can pay for schooling and not me...just, how I act towards others. I try to give everyone a fair chance, and I do seem to make friends alright, but...am I not saving enough whatever for myself? or is that very thought itself selfish. I know it's a totally unreasonable thing to expect of myself, but I just want everyone I know and/or care about to be happy. This goes for both my real life friends as well as the ones I talk to mostly/only online. Another separate issue, I suppose, involves my confidence. Why can't I have more faith in myself? Sure, damn straight I'm not perfect, but no one else is, either. I guess I shortchange myself on my personal victories and let every petty defeat hit me too hard? Iono...

...I think I'll go work on the story for a bit before bed for a bit (or try to, anyway). G'night..

Seeing as how multiple people have told me as such, it's pretty much confirmed, I'm a overworrier. What can I say, I sometimes freak out over things, and I hate to see my friends get hurt.

Other news, me and Jim ran into hat guy at King's again today. He's like ALWAYS there when we are. Neither have said a word to the other, but I feel the uneasy silence won't last. Sooner or later somebody is gonna say something, and I'm sure it will be interesting.

...other than the fact that I feel I now hang out with friends too much and don't play enough games anymore, that's about it for now. Maybe something cool will pop up later, maybe not. Who knows? ..work in morning, time for sleep.

Well, the past few days have been interesting. On thursday, me and Jim accomplished our biking mission of covering a large amount of trail between West Newton and Connellsville, which was a round trip of about 50 miles. Now, this wouldn't of been so bad, except for the fact that we rented bikes, which were only in one gear, and it wasn't 1st or even 5th, but more like 8th or 10th. We kinda agreed it was a bad idea about 20 miles in, and I kinda wanted to cave at the halfway point, but he pushed me on and we continued on our way (I got a second wind around mile 40 :D) I'm slightly burnt from that experience, since we were in the sun all day, but I'll live, and my legs got a hell of a workout, too. XD

Yesterday was fun, too. Ran into Josh at work and he told me I should come with him and Eli (elitist-type BLM75 on Hades) to see episode 3. Although I had already seen it, I decided to go. Why the hell not, the only other thing I was going to do was putter around on the computer. So, talked to them for a while, and going to try to get them in on ORPG3 monday.

Which, speaking of, I'm finally finding time to run it again tommorow. I still need to get alot of work done on the spreadsheets and such, though. electronicizing it will make it work better hopefully >.> (and also make prof hell of alot easier to keep track of. XD)

Well, I need to get ready for my aunt/uncle's anniversary and baby cousins' combined anniversary/birthday party, so I'll bow out now. Next update will concern the story, which I'm taking the notes with me just in case. :3

So, yeah, today (or yesterday by now. Whatever) was my 21st birthday. On the plus side, I didn't get drunk. Hell, I didn't drink at all. That doesn't bother me. though not having any fecking idea where my birth certificate is does bother me some. So, anyways, me and Jim were originally having a group of 15-20 people going out for my birthday. Due to various things, it got chopped down. Alot.

Only me and him went out. but that's skipping ahead a bit.

So, family wished me happy birthday, got a shirt, free month or rent, and going to get a pair of glasses. not bad, at all. jim called me on his break, asked if I wanted to hit the trail again. I said sure. We ended up doin about 7 or 8 miles total, we might of gone more, but we were about to hit Harrison Village, which is like the ghetto-est part of the ghetto of McKeesport. and yes, we started in Elizabeth Township and ended up in McKeesport before turning around. Saw mile markers 19 and 17, never saw 16 or 18 though O.o; Talked alot on the trail, like we often do, and, in one of my brilliant moments, decided that I'd try to ask Ehrin for her number or something. Figured, hell, it was my birthday, maybe I'll hit a patch of good luck? Thus I made the epic quote:

"Well, she doesn't have a boyfriend as far as we can tell, and she's not wearing a ring or anything..."

anyways, after we finish up with all 7 or 8 miles that we did (and yes, I feel accomplished about that :D) we headed out to King's. Got the breakfast as usual (with the chocolate chip pancakes! <3), and also ordered my yummy broccoli and ranch dressing. Now, several things happened to go wrong at King's.

1) Broccoli came in warm at first. I was very polite in sending it back, and the waitress was kind in turn.
2) said broccoli came with my meal, not before it ;_;
3) Ranch dressing, pancakes, butter, toast, and chocolate seemed to be magnetically attracted to my shorts.
4) Oh, the toast was burnt on one side, and still bread on the other!
but wait, it gets even better.

we're fairly close to leaving and we see Ehrin come in. I wave to her and she comes over, super smiley (though she's pretty happy any other time, too). I tell her it's my brithday and she wishes me one all sweetly. Then, before I can say anything else, she goes "Guess what I got last night, guys?!"

Admittedly, I actually thought something along the lines of a puppy. bad, bad, bad, poor ol' stupid little Matt. XD

She pulls her hand out from behind her back and is wearing this nice little engagement ring. What's the phrase of the night? Yeah, say it with me. Thanks. ^-^

Jim was nice enough to equate this occurence to me rolling for critical defense and getting 0. nothing, splat, absolutely obliterated. But oh well, life goes on, and someday, SOMEDAY, I will find a girl, and we'll be happy together.

....oh, wait, you thought I was done? XDD

We then journeyed over to Walmart to get candines (most of the world knows them as canteens). The guy in sporting goods got tired of us comparing them and kept making snide remarks about how the army one was best (I think he was a veteran or something). Well, i'll be damned if they didn't fit awesomely, and that's what we got.

Then, we decided to head over to Marty's and watch a movie. Namely either Office Space, The Count of Monte Cristo, or Pirates of the Caribbean. Why? because I'm a dork who won't watch movies on his own, and needs to see them all. so, we stopped over Jim/Kathy's house to pick the movies up, and while he was inside, I got a call from Ck. I started relaying this sad tale/sob story/call it what you want, and he said "well, there's only a half an hour left, at least it can't get any worse"

Well, you know what? Screw you, Ck old buddy, screw you.

I was still on the phone with him for a minute or two, and when I do hang up, to see what the massive police on the bridge was for, jim says that he has some bad news.

Oh, take a guess? Yep, that's right. He couldn't find any of the movies that we wanted to watch. We did end up watching Episode II, though, and apart from how Christensen (spelling?) canNOT act, it's not that bad of a movie.

Anyways, back home now, still considering this one of the worst birthdays ever, but at least it wasn't as bad as it could have been. I guess. At least I have good friends, and I know I can trust them, and they'll help me out when I need it, and I truly hope I can return the good will when the time comes.

Here's to hoping for and looking forward to a better tommorow. Sweet dreams and stuff to all, I'm hitting bed really, really soon.

Last night was cool. Though it was already dark long before we even got to the Boston Trail, as part of our ongoing effort to get back into shape, me and Jim walked somewhere between 5 and 6 miles today. This is on top of our Frick Park adventure yesterday, which was alot more hilly, but shorter. Then we picked up his girlfriend and the three of us went to King's.

Ehrin is an awesome waitress.

I just wish I could figure out if she was just being a typical waitress or if she was actually flirting or something. @.@

ORPG3 stuff tommorow (later today, really) after I get a haircut. This ought to be fun. Wonder what kinda guy/girl Fife is making, and wondering how people are gonna take the plot that's been cooked up.

Well, I'm feelin' more balanced out over the "i need somebody to be emotionally attached to so I don't go bugshit" thing again. It happens every once in a while, and I get REALLY stressed and worried over it for a few days, but I always end up fine again in the end. It's not like I don't have friends--I have alot, and they care for me and help out alot. It's just not the same, you know? (and I actually typoed that as "it's just not the dame, you know?" -- so oddly appropriate. XD) Anyways, working my ass off to try and get all this ORPG 3 stuff done for sunday. No idea what is all left that needs done yet, but I'm trying to get some decent progress here before I go to bed tonight. Thank god Rhapsod kicks ass and can keep me awake easily. XD

1) nothing much, really. got my income tax refund check, and was whihing about how I wish I had a girlfriend for the emotional attachment thingy, but I'm okay now. Still wanna buy a laptop, though.

2) Very slowly. I STILL need to get chapter 6 worked on and posted already, dammit. Matt and Indy shouldn't be hard to write about! X_x

Now, don't get me wrong, at this point in my life I'd hardly want to "Settle down" and get married and have any kids, but I've been thinking, lately, alot about my story, and well, I have to admit, Arisa is one hell of a beautiful name. I didn't even come up with it--it was my cousin Kelly who pulled it out of nowhere for me, and I liked it so much that I kept it. Even if I hadn't grown to like the character so much, i still think I'd like the name. I mean, if I ever have a daughter, i'd love to name her that. I don't care what a son would be named, as long as it wasn't something all preppy or frufru like Broderick or something else of the sort.

Anyways, I'd love to hear other people's comments on this, and what names they like, as well.

so, yeah, alot to catch up on over the past few days. Sunday afternoon was I was at work I started having chest pains. Immediately I almost panicked, fearing the worst, a heart attack, even at my young age. It hit me on and off from sunday til tuesday, and flares up dully, albiet rarely, today as well. Thankfully, though, that wasn't it (as far as we can all figure out, it's either heartburn or acid reflux disease, but as to which one, no clue). Also, I've been running on about 4-5 hours of sleep a night for the past 4 days, it seems, and I've been getting ravenously hungry more and more often--I'm afraid I might be starting to slide down the slope towards sleep deprivation sickness.

On the plus side, at least I got to play Chuck's rpg when I stayed over Anji/his house last night. Of course, dunno how much longer they're going to be there... ; ;

Finally started on chapter 6 on WIAB today. Matt gets woken up by a random bird, and then Indy...not much else beyond that just yet, (typed I mean), but anybody who I've ever talked to about the story for any length of time knows what's due to come up next. I'm looking forward to writing the chapter, and the following ones, seeing as I've finally broken free of my curse of the first opening part or two.

Well, it is early morning, and to ward off my sickness advancing any further than it might have gotten already, I'm going to call it a night. Here's to hoping that I get a full 8 hours of rest. Catch you all later.
